The Public Administration Theory Network (PAT-Net)
The Public Administration Theory Network (PAT-Net) is an international network of professionals concerned with the advancement of public administration theory.
American Society for Public Administration (ASPA)
Since 1939, we have been the nation's most respected society representing all forums in the public service arena. We are advocates for greater effectiveness in government - agents of goodwill and professionalism - publishers of democratic journalism at its very best - purveyors of progressive theory and practice and providers of global citizenship. We believe that by embracing new ideas - addressing key public service issues - and promoting change at both the local and international levels, we can enhance the quality of lives worldwide.
Association for Public Policy Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management (APPAM)
The field of public policy analysis and management that APPAM supports encompasses decisionmaking and policymaking theory, quantitative and other methods for analyzing public policies and their implementation, the theory and practice of public management, as well as the application of policy analysis theory and methods to substantive public policy problems. Students of the field and members of the organization are an increasingly important pool of talent for state, local and national governments as well as for not-for- profit and for-profit organizations.
nternational Public Management Network (IPMN)
The mission of the International Public Management Network (IPMN) is to provide a forum for sharing ideas, concepts and results of research and practice in the field of public management, and to stimulate critical thinking about alternative approaches to problem solving and decision making in the public sector. To satisfy this mission IPMN convenes its members in annual conferences and workshops and publishes selected papers presented at these events in a book series (Information Age Publishing, Inc.), in the International Public Management Journal, and the International Public Management Review online.
